Awesome piece of history. The plaques on the tower tell a great historical story of Thomas Edison.

By visiting this place you will realize that Edison was not only a great inventor but also a facilitator of globalizaton. The institution of research and development originated here. Well informed guides. Its space is small and can not accomodate more than 20 persons. A nice trail is accessible from here. Picnic tables and one unisex restroom. Limited parking lots.

Great day at the archeology dig... trying to find Edison's artifacts

There probably is no greater inventor on the list of greatest inventors of all time in our lives. Each and everyday you wake you have benefited from one of Thomas Alva Edisons greatest inventions the light bulb.

A little look into the life of Thomas Edison and you will be simply amazed at the many things he invented that still touch our lives everyday.

This facility was recently renovated by donations from we the people and is a living testament to “The Wizard of Menlo Park". Located just a short distance ( less than a mile from the exits for the Garden State Parkway and Metropark Train Station you can stop by any time. There is a picnic area there as well as a small museum and gift shop.

Very informative but very small museum. Extremely nice nature park with trails. Inspirational tower.
