My absolute favorite Korean spa place to go to. Staff are friendly and the place is kept really clean. Me and my friend have already visited the place many times and we still desire to return for more . Let me warn you if you are conscientious about being naked in front of other women in the baths then perhaps you may not get the full experience of the experience . There are five saunas outside and there are a dry and wet sauna in the naked baths area. Sometimes the spa does specials and they have student specials as well. There are couches and quiet to sleep at if you are planning to stay the night which is an additional 10.00. the only hitch is it's in the middle of new jersey so it does take some.commuting and going there from the city isn't exactly cheap. So be prepared . Near the spa there are places you can eat at so once you leave you have your choices laid out.

Best Korean spa in central NJ, I only have great things to say about this place! I've been 3 times now and I plan on coming back frequently! The women's locker room and bathing are extremely clean and the hot tubs are relaxing. The main area's chairs and couches and beanbags are so comfy it's crazy! All the saunas are perfect relaxing temperatures. The sleeping room is comfortable and quiet. There's great authentic Korean food and delicious smoothies at the juice bar. The body scrub is an awesome experience. My only complaint is that the main area is kind of loud sometimes, but that's not the spa's fault, just inconsiderate customers.

My daughter got groupons for $25 and that gets you into the spa, lockers, hot tubs, saunas, steam room and yoga classes. We didn't know what to expect, but after entering the spa it was like an Oasis in the middle of NJ. We were all given shorts and a tee shirt to wear. All hot tubs and sauna are nude, so if you're shy this is not for you, but we were shy and after the first half hour it feels liberating with all shapes and sizes walking around. (I'm 50 lbs overweight) and if I can do it you can too! We were there for 5 hours. All other services are extra, but the body scrub is a must and best experience in my life. Every inch of your body is scrubbed then massaged, hair washed for $95.00 all tips are included in the price and it's worth every single penny. We ate lunch at the Food Bar and later had snack at the Juice bar for a nominal cost. No money needed upfront, they give you a bracelet with a number and everything is charged to the number not a credit card. When you leave the spa there's no hidden costs or tips added. So pay cash or credit card when exiting the spa. It's a must do, so treat yourself to an early Xmas present because you're worth it.

Bathing area is not that big. During busy times, it is too crowded to relax. The restaurant inside has slow service and poor quality food. It took about 40 minute wait for our food to come out, main dishes were over priced, and the side dishes were dismal.

Entrance fee $29 on weekdays and $35 on weekends.

Not my cup of tea but but my experience here was a good one, considering it was my first time. The facilities were great, I was really impressed with the ambiance. It was really warm and welcoming. It absolutely made for a comfortable visit. They had clean rooms, saunas, lockers etc. along with social areas just for further relaxation. The staff was great. They were very polite and professional at all times. The food was exciting and different for me. I had crushed ice with peanuts, almonds, oat meal all on the sides of the bowl and that was glazed with green tea all topped of with ice cream. This was one of my absolute favorites here. I would recommend Island Spa and Sauna to anyone that's willing to step out of their comfort zone.
