Zales: "Did you check the website?"
Very unhappy with the salesman's attitude today. I walked in and he asked what the occasion was. I told him I was looking for an anniversary gift for my wife, to which he replied "How long have you been putting up with her". I find this to be extremely rude and after informing him that we have a wonderful marriage, I left. Please have respect for your customers if you want to keep their business.
I entered the store just to have a look. As we have always purchase from the Zales store in the Willowbrook Mall. When I entered the store manager Nancy came to me and asked if she can help me, I said I was only looking. A few minutes latter a sales rep. by the name of John Lewis approached me. I asked Mr. Lewis if he can search his date base to find my records, I wanted to get my wedding & engagement rings cleaned. There was a stone lose also. Mr. Lewis took his time and found it. I was surprise since the staff in the Willowbrook Mall always told me that they were unable to find it and I had to pay to get it cleaned .The reason I am writing this is so everyone that reads these reviews will know that this store is a well staff store. I left my rings and when I left the store I felt so happy that Mr. Lewis took his time to help me . Especially since I had purchase the extended warranty and other protection. I was also given a flyer on a design your own event that will be on October 12, 2014. I just felt like I was being treated like a valued customer. I give this store a 5 star for there customer service, most of all their knowledge, patience. My hat goes off Nancy, John Lewis of the Zales Diamond Store of Menlo Park Mall Rt.1 & Parsonage Rd. Me: "Can you please check for me?"
Customer service is TERRIBLE! I called to see if they had an item in stock and I was treated like an annoyance. The conversation literally went something like this...
Zales: "I'm sorry we have no way to check out stock over the phone, if you want you can come in and check, have a good day"
Place to get your diamond ring...place to make your memories last forever...
Me: "Hi, do you have the earrings with the stock number XXX in stock?
Worst customer service/employees ever. Took us 3 hours in the actual store to return 2 items. Good job Zales.
